Artist Bio

Charmaine is a Hong Kong-born Kiwi artist who began her international career by exploring the world. 

Through teaching, working and experiencing different cultures around the world, she brings life to her art.

There's always a therapeutic element in her work.

Being a nerd in nature, she holds multiple tertiary qualifications in various areas. She enjoys furthering her education and inspiring others. Her motto is

'It is never too old to learn (活到老 學到老)'.

Charmaine is currently pursuing postgraduate study in Psychology while still working full time as an artist and as an educator remotely. She is based in

Wellington, New Zealand.
